June 2009~

 

How does your Garden grow!!!

 

The latest new little loves are arriving just in time to enjoy all summer long~

 

We have the knome family..Garden Knome, Mrs. Knome and the Gnome Statue (this is tiny and oh so cute!)

 

Then there is Garden Spa, Garden Get-a-way, Daisy Chain and Spruce Up..All so darn sweet and look great with everyone's favorite..The Garden Center. Oh, and the is a new little flower pot that is perfect with a little butterfly on it.

 

And of course we can't forget...Look Who's in Bunny's Garden! Absolutely adorable!!!

 

But if that wasn't enough, Catfish Cove is outfitted in new colors as a limited peice from June 15 - Aug. 15, 2009 sporting very colorful floral swim trunks and highly embellished. What could be better than that?

Hope everyone is enjoying the flowering trees, the bulbs all blooming and the warmer days!

 

Have you noticed on our feature page to new collection for 4th of July??

There is 'Giddy-Up' and 'Clippity-Clop' in red, white and blue colors AND if you purchase both of them, you'll recieve a 'Barrel' as a gift! It says USA on it with two tiny mugs sitting on top of the barrel.

 

Next is 'Yummy' eating a vanilla, chocolate, strawberry ice cream cone and her dress has bananas, cherries and blue flowers on it.

Sooooo sweet!

 

Then for the perfect holiday picnic, there is 'Just the Two of Us'. she is in a red dress with white pokka-dots and he is dressed in blue.

Perfect!

All that we mentioned above is available until July 15,2009.

 

A new peice is 'Homegrown Stars and Stripes'. He's wearing blue overalls with a white star on his pocket and waving an American Flag. Then you can also purchase the 'American Flag' alone.

both of these items have been added to the line.

 

Now, as to do with the sweet 'Little Chickie' at Easter... It has been added to the line in 3 pastel colors Lavender, Pink and Green.

And the 'Chickie with kercheif' is now available in three colors too. Green, Red and Blue.

What a charming add-on to any Spring sculpture!

 

Well, I think I'll go cut some flowers for the supper table~

I know we chatted about the new Easter pieces a bit ago but they are soooo special I wanted to share with you again...

 

Has everyone seen the Easter pieces? Oh my golly gosh! The Petersen's out did themselves on these!!

And the little chickie that is a gift when you purchase 3 of the new Easter ones is as cute as can be!!!!

 

We have them featured on our front page for you to fall in love with them too! However, we are having a little difficulty showing the wee chick. But do trust us when we say it is adorable!!! It's easy to get the gift of the wee chickie, simply order any three of the six and you will receive a wee chickie.

This is the first time the Petersen's have offered such a treat!

And with each of these you purchase, you'll receive a yummy Wee Forest Folk chocolate with a chance to win a different little chick in a kerchief.

 

This is all new and exciting, don't you think?

 

Easter is April 12 so you still have plenty of time to have them arrive before the eventful day!

Yes! Only 7 retired mice will be going to the meadows to relax.. They will be missed!

 

Mrs. Petersen decided to retire just a few this season in hopes to help all the wonderful collectors not be over loaded trying to capture them all. That was very thoughtful of her and indeed very appreciated!!!!

 

We posted their portraits on our 'Featured Section' for all to see.

Supply is very limited this year so please when you place your order.. know that we will call you when we ship or if you can't wait to know, please give us a call and we will see where you are on the list!

 

As always, we hope the Petersen family knows how truly amazing these 'Wee Folk' are and how our hearts have changed forever because of them!!

New Easter Scuptures have been announced~

 

Very exciting this year! The Petersen's are doing something new and wonderful! They are offering a little chickie piece to you as a gift when you purchase atleast 3 of the 6 Easter pieces. And to add to the excitment, you will get a WFF chocolate with each purchase and some lucky customers will find a golden ticket inside their chocolate and win a cute chickie in a kerchief!   Wow!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!

Just heard of the new wee ones that will be arriving for Valentine's Day! They made my heart skip a beat !!

 

We have featured them on the Home page for all to see. I lovvvvve 'Cupid's Special Delivery', don't we all secretly wish for our mailbox to be filled with Valentines?   Then there's 'Somebody loves me'!!! oh that special

feeling when you know you're loved... it's sooooo wonderful!!  Next there is,'Will he or Won't He'... remember that dance when you were all dressed up and waiting (and hoping with fingers crossed) for that special someone to ask you to dance ???     Lastly, 'Sweet Treats'... a picnic with your most treasured buddy who is always there for you!! What could be better?

 

Oh, there is one more new piece and it is not a Valentine's sculpture.  It is 'Best Birthday Ever'....I love it!!!   It is the same base and little girl as 'Cupid's Special Delivery" but with a Birthday theme. Absolutely adorable!!

 

Now, I spoke with the factory on Friday and there is no news on when the 'retireds' will be annouced.

And no mention of any other new tid-bits... but do keep checking back and I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything!!!

 

Whew! That's alot for now, think I'll go take a little cat nap now...

Here are the latest nibbles... Mrs. Petersen, Willy and Donna had a great time picking the Halloween contest winners on October 29th. Congratulations to all 20 of you lucky winners! We didn't have a winner drawn from our shop, but hopefully we will for the Christmas contest! Keep your fingers crossed.

 

Oh! Did I just mention a new contest? Why yes I did...and it just started. Oh Boy! There are just 10 For a Good Mouse Only and 10 It's a Cinch! in special colors. Each of these special color sculptures will be numbered and signed by the artist and will come with an official WFF Certificate of Authenticity. Annette Petersen will be drawing the fortunate winners on Dec. 12th and there will only be one piece per winner. Entry deadline is Dec. 8th. 

So... to all our customers, please stop by our shop and enter the contest or if you are unable to, please give us a call (425.402.9337) or email us at sweethummingbirdlane@verizon.net and we will enter you on the official entry form. And you can enter once every day if you like...We love hearing from you either way!

 

On to the next tidbit... the factory just announced new limited sculptures...Wow!  They are wonderful! They are two limited holiday pieces... one is for Thanksgiving, M-382a A Wee Fall Feast (only available until Nov. 30th) and one for Christmas, M-380s It's a Cinch! (available until Dec. 31st).  Put you order in quickly to be sure to get yours!

 

And... they added a new piece into the line just in time for the holidays... It is Doll Party, M-381. For all of you out there that love dolls...this one is perfect!  She is all dressed and ready to go to the party.

 

Now for the last of my scribbles ....  7 new ornaments!! WOW!  We are featuring them on our home page. Christmas Angel Ornament (CO-1) was the first one out last Christmas and is in the current line and now these 7 delightful new ones too. They are charming... I feel right at home with Cozy Nest (CO-3), those sweet babies tucked inside...gives me good memories!! Hope you love them too!

October 2008~

Here's the latest! Right now, the Petersen's are having a "Win a mouse!" contest for 2 adorable Halloween mice sculptures, Dragon Dress Up and Pumpkin Pop Up (see pictures below). There are just 10 gold & purple Dragon Dress-Ups and 10 light green Pumpkin Pop-Ups (One piece per winner). Each of these special color sculptures will be numbered and signed by the artist and come with an official WFF Certificate of Authenticity. Winners will be chosen by Annette Petersen on October 29th.
